About the Instructor

Abeer Fathima

Abeer Fatima is the Lead Interior Designer at DesignAware, a Partner at DesignAware Dubai, and the founder of Eclipse, a signature wearables brand. She holds a BDes in Interior Design from Raffles College of Design & Commerce.

Abeer specializes in accessible and universal design, with strong project management skills. She has led notable projects like the micro mosque in Masab Tank, Hyderabad; the revival of Melting Moments ice creamery; and the Ribbon House near Qutb Shahi Tombs, featured in designboom and exhibited at the India Art, Architecture & Design Biennale 2023.

She has also designed installations for events like Dubai Design Week, Hyderabad Design Week, and the Ministry of Culture’s HeliX project at the Biennale 2023.

Abeer’s work has earned her accolades, including the Rising Star title by Surfaces Reporter (2017), the Platinum Award at FOAID (2019), and iGen 2024 recognition by Architect and Interiors India. She has delivered keynote lectures at venues like Apple Dubai, Zayed University, and the UIA World Congress of Architects.

With a passion for impactful design, Abeer Fatima continues to shape the field of architecture and design.
